Ruaha Campus

About Campus

TICD-Ruaha Campus is an academic institution offering training in Community Development. It is located in Iringa Municipality, Iringa Region, approximately five (5) kilometres from Iringa Town Centre, and occupies 37.42 hectares of land. The Campus traces its history to the Training for Rural Development College (TRDC) established in the 1960s. It was transformed into a Folk Development College (FDC) in 2002 and later into a Community Development Training Institute (CDTI) in 2008. Following its affiliation with Tengeru Institute of Community Development, it currently operates as TICD-Ruaha Campus. TICD-Ruaha Campus is a Government-owned institution registered and accredited by NACTVET under Registration No. REG/PWF/0028. Its key functions include providing Community Development training, conducting socio-economic research, and offering consultancy services.
